By Air:

Gandhinagar is well connected to the rest of the country through various air routes. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport connects the city with destinations across India, the Middle East, the Far East, and select destinations in Western Europe. There are multiple flights on a daily basis to major cities in and out of India. From the Airport, the distance to Pandit Deendayal Energy University is about 15 km and can be covered by road in 30-40 minutes.

By Rail:

Ahmedabad railway station, also known as Kalupur Station, connects the city to all major cities of India like Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Patna etc. From the railway station, the distance is about 20 km and can be traveled in around 60 minutes.

By Road:

Gandhinagar is connected to various towns of the state by National Highway 147. The city is well connected to other cities in and outside Gujarat by the state transport and private buses as well as trains.
